Sunday Brunch issue 3

I am having a lovely, lovely experience today. One of my photos from our camping trip to Sweden is shown on the Impossible Project`s blog post Sunday Brunch issue 3. Thank you so much to their team for choosing my photo for this, it is a real honor. It has made my day and I am sitting here smiling.

I do have a soft spot for their new film Color Shade Cool as I mentioned earlier, it is my new instant favorite and an exciting film to use. Our summer vacation is also coming up quickly and I will bring this film with me. We`re visiting a couple of cities in the USA where I`ve never been before.
How exciting is that!

Look what I found

Pretty and old houses. Perfect. I really have a liking for these kind of houses and wonder what it would be like to live in one. I can only imagine that renovating one would be a huge amount of work, though. 

Will probably never do that, will just admire them through a camera and collect them in a pretty box.

It is still a bit cold for me.

Yellow is cool too, but it can`t beat the red - sorry.

I am just happy to find things I can photograph. 

Getting to know a place

Even if it is only camping for a weekend, getting to know the place we`re staying at is fun. Exciting.

The day we arrived, we took a walk around and liked what we saw. If it is water around, then I am very happy. Better yet, the sea and the coast. So pretty every time. 

I am still in love with the color red of this film.

I could see myself living here for a little while. Instead we`ll be back camping. With more packs of the Impossible film, out looking for new colors.

With warmer weather ..

.. comes camping. We`re camping again and had our first trip of the season last weekend. 

To Sweden. And dropping by Smögen, a pretty place by the coast.

I was using the PX 680 Color Shade Cool film for the first time and I really like it. 

My new favorite, since running out of Polaroid 600 film. 

This film creates the most cool red color I can think of. I`ll be photographing a lot of red from now on.

I `ll even paint things over if I have to.

Easter was here

Lovely easter days that have already passed by. Not so warm, but that will not stop us. We went on a few days trip to Kristiansand and liked walking around the city center, it is very charming as always. Managed to do a little shopping, but mostly enjoyed the calm of the holidays.

Appreciation

I`ve learned to appreciate the little things

just so to forget the bigger issues.

Left behind so far

But will soon be removed due to city development, I think.

I do love to photograph old things with analog cameras.

It get`s me sentimental, which I kind of like.

They are pretty with their wisdom gathered by years passed.
